Organizational Governance

The Taiwanese American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Phoenix (TACCGP) is a duly established nonprofit chamber of commerce organized under Section 501(c)(6) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code. TACCGP is governed by its Board of Directors and does not operate under a statutory voting-membership structure. All governance and decision-making authority is independently exercised by the Board of Directors in accordance with applicable laws and the Chamber’s governing documents.

All partners participate solely to support the Chamber’s mission, programs, and activities. Partner status does not confer governance authority, voting rights, a seat on the Board of Directors, or any other internal governance rights. Internal governance and operational information is confidential and entrusted to the Board of Directors. Such information is strictly protected under the Chamber’s governance policies and applicable principles of business confidentiality and is not available for public inspection.

All required federal tax filings and regulatory submissions are handled by the Chamber’s designated accounting professionals. Information required by law to be made public is available through the IRS’s official public disclosure system. Except as required by law or formally authorized by the Board of Directors, all related authority and access remain under the exclusive administration of the Board.

Since its establishment and registration as an independent 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization, the Taiwanese American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Phoenix has remained committed to independent operation and strong local engagement. The Chamber’s day-to-day operations and administrative expenses are fully supported through funds raised by its Board of Directors and members. Funding for individual business programs and events is provided entirely through project-based support and sponsorships from corporate partners in the United States and abroad.

TACCGP is a fully independent legal entity with complete financial, organizational, and administrative autonomy. It has never received ongoing funding or regular resource allocations from, nor is it subordinate to, any external federation or umbrella organization. We value engagement and cooperation with business and trade organizations while remaining firmly focused on serving Taiwanese-owned businesses throughout Arizona and corporate partners across all industries.
